SMS Input:
SMSrelay accepts short messages being submitted through this system by various ways. It can be input over the web by a user or by automated systems submitting over the large account option. A second input way is through e-mail. The e-mail gateway does then do the web submit for you. Other input methods are possible. If you have specific needs or protocol, talk to us and we can enable them for you.
SMS Routing:
The short messages input into our system are then routed to the optimal destination by taking into account the numbers and type of messages you send.
SMS Output:
The short messages are then submitted to the short message center of the corresponding carrier. We have multiple connections to various short message centers (SMSC) of mobile carriers and we also own a few SMSC's ourselves as we run them for a bunch of GSM carriers who decided to outsource their SMS service to us.
